In 2024, Cranston said goodbye to an era as Wein-O-Rama temporarily closed after decades under the ownership of the Sotirakos family. But that wasn’t the end of the story. Lifelong Cranston locals and longtime fans, Chris Tasca and Eric Beaune, stepped in to preserve the beloved diner’s legacy. With a passion for Rhode Island food culture and a mission to bring back the same menu, same flavors, and same hometown vibe, the duo purchased the restaurant — including its original recipes, name, and nostalgic spirit.
